These special releases are designed to offer wine enthusiasts and collectors something very unique for their cellars and collections.

The Janesko Artist Series is the result of a unique vision and a chance encounter. Haut Art's Vintner and CEO Jim Hughes was in Chicago on business discussing a private wine label for a large accounting firm.

After his meetings were completed, Jim visited Glamourcon 27 which was being held in his hotel's convention center. The highlight of the show was Janesko's exhibit. Having been a Janesko collector for several years, Jim was thrilled to finally meet Jennifer in person. The chance meeting sparked an idea of creating a unique pin-up themed wine label.

Long a fan of Vargas and Petty, Jim knew Janesko's work was held up to the same international acclaim. Having consulted with over 150 wineries in California on marketing and packaging concepts, a pin-up wine label seemed to be a natural extension of Jim's experience and contacts. A business dinner meeting provided the proper forum, and the basic concept of the Janesko Artist Series was created over steaks along with a display of Jennifer's wine knowledge.

The culmination of Jim's vision and Janesko's sexy masterpieces are seen on this website. Jim will be interviewing other renown & established glamour artists to add to Haut Art Wine’s portfolio. Barbara Jensen is the 2nd Artist to Join our collection – see her profile in The Artists.
