2006 PINOT NOIR
RAISIN PARFAIT LIMITED SELECTION

Pinot Noir has been a “Big Deal” to wine fans for a long time
– like 500 to 600 years.

The recent movie “Sideways”, drew America’s attention to this
fragrant light red, soft finishing wine like never before. Sales of this
wine rose by 25% nationwide since the release of the movie.

Pinot Noir’s native country, France, has known this delicious secret
since around the reign of Louis the XlV. Rumor has credited Louis with
conferring high praise on Pinot by saying "Le Roi de Vin, Le Vin de Roi"
(there will be a test later*), but basically he liked it a lot.

We’ve been told that Pinot is the favorite wine of Janesko.
Obviously Princesses are fond of it as well.

Pinot can be a finicky grape, and production in California
was a little hit & miss in the beginning. There are now 5 favored
growing areas in the state and Anderson Valley in Mendocino is
one of the best and home of our Pinot Noir, Raisin Parfait.

The Perfect Grapes were scarce and this release is limited to 1200 bottles.
