Barbara Jensen is the perfect addition to
Haut Art Wines’ Select Artists’ Family.

A classic pinup artist, Barbara came to the attention of Haut Art’s Vintner Jim Hughes
when he first saw her work for sale in the
Bud Plant Catalog . Knowing that Bud had a fine eye for artistic talent, Jim contacted Barbara through her website and was soon discussing
the creation of an original art for Haut Art’s
2005 Napa Merlot.

Barbara is held in high regard for her specialty, custom personalized commission work. Her art is featured on many pinup and erotic art websites and can also be seen in galleries worldwide. She has worked closely with well known models and celebrities both as subjects, and customers. Barbara has been published in her own Art Fantastic Art Premiere book, Club International Magazine, Airbrush Action magazine,
Artcore #1 & #5, Sizzle Magazine.

With all her acknowledgments, it’s sometimes difficult to comprehend that Barbara is self taught. A natural talent, skilled in a range of subjects. Her first original work for us ,“Breezy”, is a classic American Pinup : A wind bedazzled, capricious, but innocent beauty who is reminiscent of the styles of Art Frahm, Earl Macpherson & Zoe Mozert.

Pinups were in their heyday in the 1940’s, long before photo girlie magazines, and an artist’s imagination, as well as talent, where the beginnings of dreams for young American servicemen. Barbara’s understanding and interpretation of life’s sweet serendipity gives
us a chance to appreciate simpler, more innocent times, when the girls were really pretty and men looked forward to a windy day.

Barbara was born & raised in New York State, but now resides in Florida.
