2005 Carneros Merlot.

Perhaps our best wine to date, This Merlot
is a blockbuster – big, jammy & full bodied.
This wine will make you forget about the cheeky comments that the character in
the movie "Sideways" said about Merlot
(Miles never tasted ours – it’s a home run).

Carneros is an appleation that features ideal climates favored by certain grape types. Carneros also has the distinction of being in both Napa & Sonoma counties.
It borders the San Francisco Bay and enjoys cool breezes that temper the inland Napa & Sonoma valley heat.

2005 was a bountiful harvest and we were able to acquire this magnificent fruit from Truchard Vineyards , a very respected producer of Pinot Noir and Syrah.
